This is the pinnacle of leadership development training.

Today was absolutely mind-blowing. How I worked within a team in that sort of environment was really interesting to observe.

The IncusER programme has been designed for leaders and teams in large corporates that operate in stressful and turbulent operating environments.

Crucial lessons from emergency medicine

Lessons from emergency medicine are applied to business, in a true to life but entirely safe environment. Outcomes include:

  • Greater resilient and impactful leadership

  • Effective decision-making, whilst under stress

  • Integrating empathy into the boardroom

  • Higher performance with influence and impact

Enabling real transformation

The programme is a three-dimensional experience, in which participants learn through doing. The team will work in partnership with a client to develop a simulation that addresses specific needs and objectives.

A pre-briefing is given before the session for all participants, then during the day itself, debriefs take place after each scenario.

Relevant learning and reflection

The learnings from each scenario are transferred to the specific challenges each participant experiences in their business lives.

This is achieved by using the Diamond, a facilitated debrief methodology developed by the IncusER team.

Meaningful, sustainable learning

After the experience, each participant receives individual feedback, linked to their performance in the simulation. They draw on this to meet their specific learning needs over the ensuing months.

For example, one participant recognised they were drawn into a scenario and lost situational awareness, acting in the moment. We worked with them to develop strategies to be aware of their physical state and manage this with specific practical exercises that they have found useful in their daily practice as well as in high stress environments.

Integrated into your firm’s leadership development initiatives

The experience can be a standalone programme or integrated into your firm’s leadership development or change management initiative.

It can also be used as a diagnostic tool over repeated sessions to assess progress.
